November 2025 Monthly Letter: A Message From The USA-SR RC
Happy All Saints Day!
As we move into the month of November, we are grateful for so many things including our connections from past, present, and those yet to be made. For the past two months, we have focused on the importance of building connections. This month, we will conclude this theme and reflect on our thankfulness for these connections.
The first being our saints and our dearly beloved souls who have departed this Earthly life. We are thankful for their physical connection with us while they were here but also for their spiritual connection that we have now. We are blessed for having them in our lives, both physically and spiritually.
Along with these blessings, we would be remiss to not mention our gratefulness to Fr. Caffarel and his “yes” to founding this beautiful Movement. When those initial couples approached him so many years ago with the desire to grow in holiness in the Sacrament of Marriage, he followed the promptings of the Holy Spirit and said “yes”. He could have passed it off to another priest and said he was too busy, but he took a leap of faith and said “yes”. He desired to build a strong connection with those married couples and for that we are grateful. Although not a saint yet, we ask that all Teams couples spend intentional time this month praying for his canonization. Please join us in praying the Fr. Caffarel prayer daily.
Next, we are grateful for our family and friends and the love, patience, and support they provide to us. Many of those friends are from Teams of Our Lady. We are thankful for Cypress TX 01 and those couples that have walked with us through life’s trials and tribulations for the past 20 years. You are our extended family! We are also especially blessed and thankful for the amazing USA Super Region Team! Thank you all for your fiat and for your dedication and connection to this Movement!
We are thankful for our parents who passed along the importance of our Catholic faith to us. Although neither set of parents is in Teams, we are grateful for their combined 108 years of marriage and their love and dedication to each other. The power of a parents’ prayers and example became very evident this past summer to us when we met Very Reverend Fr. Brian Kane in Ars, France. As we were attending the ERI College Meeting in France, we took an afternoon to experience Ars and the life of St. John Vianney. While walking through Ars with our counterparts from the United Kingdom, we encountered Fr. Brian who recognized the Teams fish logo on our shirts. He stopped us to inquire. Watch the video below and learn of his connection to Teams through his parents.
As an extension of Fr. Caffarel’s “yes”, we are also grateful for the “yes” of the seven couples and the Priest Spiritual Counselor serving on the current ERI (International Leading Team). They are keeping the Movement connected worldwide so that couples in Africa, Australia, Italy, Brazil, France, USA and over 80 additional countries are moving together with a united purpose of growing closer to Christ and to one another through the support of the Teams of Our Lady community! Learn more about these couples and Fr. Augusto at the following website links: USA-SR webpage (International Leading Team (ERI)) or the ERI webpage (International Leading Team – Teams of Our Lady.)
So, as we embark on this month of thankfulness, let’s reflect on all those in our lives that made a strong impact. Remember back to the couple who first told you about Teams of Our Lady and invited you to an Information Meeting. Remember back to the couple who graciously said “yes” to serving as your Pilot Couple and walked with you and your new team for those first critical months in the Movement. The time and sacrifices they made to help you are invaluable. We remember very fondly both the McCarrens for their invitation to us and the Rodines for piloting us. Without them, we probably would not have formed the connections we have today in Teams of Our Lady. We are forever thankful to them!
Finally, we would like to give each of you another opportunity to feel connected with each other and with the larger Movement. As Fr. Brian Kane recognized the logo on our shirts, the importance of displaying our logo is a way of connecting with others. The Teams Store has new merchandise especially for Christmas! Check out the new offerings available for the holidays for a limited time. Items must be ordered by November 30, 2025 to be delivered in time for Christmas. Happy shopping!
